11/2006 I would like to share with you my experiences with G – Plasticoat. I own an 18 year old home that is sided with cedar lap siding with cedar decks on the front as well as the rear of the home.

Rear Deck To make my home more of a maintenance nightmare, it was built in a totally wooded area causing mildew issues along with the typical upkeep problems of owning a cedar home. The amount of maintenance required was causing me to consider selling the home that my family and I built. We love living here and do not want to move. After trying just about everything on the market I was introduced to G – Plasticoat. G – Plasticoat sealed the cedar and gave it a finish and tone it hasn’t had since it was new.
G – Plasticoat was also the easiest sealer that I have put on the house, and I have used them all. G - Plasticoat has another added bonus for owners of cedar homes. It rejuvenates the metal cladding around the window, garage doors, guttering, soffit, and fascia. After all, now that the cedar siding and decking looks like new you want the rest of the house to look just as good.
By the way, we are not selling!
